the real reason I was posting here was to tell you all that miracles DO happen - I left the Telus store happy today! I know, WTF right? But I ended up with a shiny (literally, it is the LG Shine) new phone and a freaking amazing contract. I tricked Telus into letting me keep my sweet contract from 2006, giving me 250 text/month for free (I had previously purchased the add on for 5$/mo), and nationwide 5 faves (so I can, you know, call my mom and stuff) for 10$/month instead of 15$. Net contract cost increase = 5$. A friend of mine has the same services, but pays twice my monthly fee. I don't think the guy really knew what he was doing.

Anyways, net satisfaction with cell phone increase? Eight-billion-fold!
